An international symposium was organized by the Research Centre of Home science on “Recent trends in food processing and career advancement held at the Research Centre of Home science on 27.01.2020.Dr. Rajesh, CEO, RASA Management and Recruitment consultancy, Ethiopia was the guest of honor for the afternoon.   The programme started with the prayer song followed by the welcome address by S.Fathima shahzadhi of III B.Sc Home science. He was honored with a memento by the Head of the Research Centre of Home science – Dr.Vasantha Esther Rani.   Dr.Rajesh spoke about the opportunities available in Ethiopia and a lot of information about the country, its food, culture, education and career opportunities. He also suggested bringing out a research topic based on the Ethiopian grain Teff. He encouraged the students to think out of the box and come out of the comfort zone followed by the questioning session by the students.   It was an eye opening session, giving awareness about the less trotted
