HOME SCIENCE WITH FOOD BIOTECHNOLOGY,FATIMA COLLEGE

 Fine Arts is an Interdepartmental Competition conducted by Fatima College every year. The Research Centre of Home Science won the Runner Trophy in Fine Arts - 2K19. 

 An International Webinar on Global Congress on Sustainability for Growth and Development was organised by Persian University, Putra Nilai, Negeri Sembilar, Malaysia along with Research Centre of Home Science, Fatima College on 17th to 19th July, 2021. 

 The Research Centre of Home science Club - Hive Mind was inaugurated for the year 2021 on October 5, 2021. The Resource person were Mrs. Zareena Mohamed , Montessori Coach, Breakthrough Montessori Public Charter School, Washington DC has given the Guest Lecture. Memorendum of Understanding was signed by Mrs. Daphne Rodrigoi , Director representing Regional Centre for Training & Development, Madurai. Posting were given to students in Investiture Ceremony. Siva Sankari S from II B.Sc Home Science as Vice President of Home Science Club Hive Minds. Amirtha Varshini R from I B.Sc Home Science as Joint Secretary of Home Science Club Hive Minds.  Nutrifest 2021 was organised with regard to National Nutrition Week. It was organised online on 9th September, 2021.  Theme of the Year is "FEEDING RIGHT FROM THE START". Webinar was organized with theme of "Eat for Today and Live for Tomorrow". Dr. Anto Cordelia Tanislaus Cordelia Antony Dhanpal was the Resource person of the day. Intercollegiate competition was conducted for Student's from other colleges and also for students of Fatima College. Prizes were awarded for winners.  Invitation of Nutrifest

 Breastfeeding week was celebrated with the theme of " Protecting Breastfeeding: where lies the Responsibility " on 6th August, 2021. Dr. Helen Jebasingh , Gynaecologist, Asirvatham Hospital was the Resource Person. Importance of Breast Feeding, different techniques of Feeding and feeding practice even during COVID-19 was clearly explained. We have also Organized a Grand Quiz for Local people in the motto of creating awareness on 1st to 4th of August, 2021.
